Innovative FoodTech IT startup in the service and HoReCa sectors. The company's main products: SuperApp: a social network with a loyalty program, a guide to establishments, and automation of visitor interactions with establishments, including booking, order management via QR code, payment, and communication. CRM system for businesses in the service and HoReCa sectors, integrated with Yclients, iiko, and r_keeper.

Client problems

A mobile application was needed for managing orders and bookings in establishments without reliance on a POS system. The development goal was to improve and accelerate customer interactions and enhance staff efficiency.

Task

Analyze the competitor market, study the customer journey, develop interfaces for managing bookings and orders in a mobile app for establishments, and design product architecture considering integration with external providers (Yclients, iiko, r_keeper, cash registers, payment terminals, notification systems). Users can book tables, order dishes, pay, and communicate through the main app, while employees manage these processes via the establishment’s mobile app.

Solutions

  • Studied similar applications, such as iiko, iikoWaiter, and r_keeper, to identify best practices and potential shortcomings of existing solutions.

  • Conducted interviews with potential users and restaurant staff to gain a deep understanding of their needs and expectations for the app.

  • Conducted a series of UX testing on prototypes to determine the most convenient and effective interfaces.

  • Developed product architecture, set up a server environment that meets all personal data processing security requirements and ensures stable performance under increased load.
